CANNES LIONS FESTIVAL - SIR TIM BERNERS-LEE - THE WORLD WIDE WEB INVENTOR

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the World Wide Web inventor, talks at Cannes Lions Festival about AI (Artificial Intelligence) revolution, during "SENTIENCE: THE COMING AI REVOLUTION" Seminar. Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web while working as a software engineer at CERN in 1989. By October 1990 he had outlined the three fundamental technologies that remain the foundation of today’s Web; HTML, URI and HTTP and written the first Web page editor/browser and the first Web server. In 2009 he announced the formation of the World Wide Web Foundation which works to ensure an open, free Web accessible to all. Cannes, France, Tuesday, 23 June 2015.
